לְבִישָׁהf. (לָבַש) putting on, dressing, opp. פשיטה undressing. Yoma 32a מה ל׳ טעיןוכ׳ as well as dressing (the priests putting on his priestly garments) requires sanctification (washing), so does ; Y. ib. iii, 40c מה ל׳ מקדשוכ׳ as well as he must sanctify himself for dressing Lev. R. s. 22 לְבִישַׁת כלאים התרתיוכ׳ (I forbade thee) to wear clothes of mixed material, as an offset I permitted thee
